This evening was a nice change. It was very enlightening and all the women were open to the discussion. I am glad that my life is simple and I understand how lucky I am

What is the deal?

I have been discussing the morality of capital punishment and the necessity of war. I feel as though if I don’t accept the giving of death I can’t be considered to be truly alive. I know that death is just the completion of life in some form but why hasten the process. Most of those for the 2 previous mentioned death givers are the type that say that they are used to protect others.  But if these people are killed what of their families and how does that guarantee better lives for us.  I am not in favor of just shrugging it off I know that innocents need protection but often, especially in war other innocents are paying the price of their own lives. Prison is the only alternative but the way the system is now it needs to be completely re-evaluated and revamped into a basic place not a place that rewards being locked up. MGHU

My mom forever

This is a tribute to my mom who left this crazy world Jan 2nd. She is at peace now and can watch over her family without having to be worried. I believe she is with God and that He will keep her happy. RIP 

2008 out-2009 in

4 more days till another year bites the dust and what do you have to show for it? More awareness, less debt and holding on to the memories of the year’s best and flushing the worst down the crapper. The Midwest is soggy but warm. A new year and a new prez-lets hope it can begin a new direction. The challenge is to have a even greater year than last-set the bar high and get a higher chair.

What's next?

The internet has made suicide a spectator sport for all those who have no conscience. The fun just keeps on going. I can’t wait to see what another lost soul will endure and what we as the audience will come up with to taunt them.
